Situated next to the Swan's Nest Hotel, The Bear offers a beautiful riverside location with stunning views across the Avon and is just a five minute stroll from the Royal Shakespeare Company. This historic inn started out as The Bear when it first opened in 1662. Following an extensive refurbishment, The Bear has once again become the bustling, riverside tavern it once was serving a great selection of cask ales.
The atmosphere at the Bear is friendly and informal. The stylish interior has a warm, cosy feel with beautifully restored wood panelling, two central fires and a gorgeous pewter bar top. There is also an outside seating area for you to enjoy your drink and watch the world go by! We hope to see you soon.
